Jim HobbsJim Hobbs (2009 Graduate) - Since graduating from the NCSBS in July of 2009, I have had the great pleasure of serving as the preacher at the Rutherford church of Christ in Rutherfordton, NC. This congregation is located in Rutherford County, about fifteen minutes south of Marion. Much of my time is devoted to preparing and leading Bible lessons for community apartment complexes, as well as conducting classes for men within the congregation who seek to become more proficient as Bible teachers. Beginning in April, 2012, I shall have the great opportunity of teaching a class at the NCSBS. My wife, Libby, stays very active within the congregation as an elementary class teacher, as well as being a student in childhood development at the local community college. We have also been fortunate enough to have had two foster children live with us for fourteen months. These children, brother and sister, ages five and six, have recently returned to their mother on a trial basis.
